The Future of NoMa

At the end of June, DC’s first ever Hyatt Place hotel opened on New York Ave in NoMa – two blocks from the NoMa metro, and within clear view of the capitol. But this announcement is about more than just another new hotel in DC – this is actually just the first phase of an extensive mixed-used development from JBG Companies. Ultimately, the development will includes restaurants, apartments, office space, and a 10-screen Landmark Theatre opening by early 2017. This will all be anchored in a “pedestrian friendly plaza that meanders between the buildings from New York Avenue to Patterson Street.”

Between this development and all of the exciting plans that EDENs has for the area around Union Market, it’s clear that the NoMa neighborhood has serious property value potential. Click here to check out listings in the area!
