I mean, really…what else do you need to know?

Aaand here’s Capitol Hill’s response to last week’s live music at the Metro post from Men’s Life DC. I came across this motley crew as I was heading home from dinner on Barracks Row earlier this week, and could not think of a better way to cap off the evening. Clearly, DC’s musical traditions are alive and well!
One of my fantastic clients captured this great video of one of my favorite DC experiences. These guys play around town all the time, and definitely bring the party with them!
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times – the best time to visit the monuments is after dark. This beautiful video by Drew Geraci of District 7 Media proves it. Enjoy!
Last week, the Washingtonian featured a human – or rather duckie – interest piece that is just such a quintessentially DC gem of a tradition that I had to share it. Every year, a mama duckie and her new hatchlings make the pilgrimage from the top of the hill in Georgetown down to the canal. And every year, mama and her babies pick up along the way an entourage of wonderful humans who take it upon themselves to safely escort the motley little crew to their destination. Here are the full story and ridiculously adorable pictures from the Washingtonion:
