Aaand here’s Capitol Hill’s response to last week’s live music at the Metro post from Men’s Life DC. I came across this motley crew as I was heading home from dinner on Barracks Row earlier this week, and could not think of a better way to cap off the evening. Clearly, DC’s musical traditions are alive and well!
One of my fantastic clients captured this great video of one of my favorite DC experiences. These guys play around town all the time, and definitely bring the party with them!
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times – the best time to visit the monuments is after dark. This beautiful video by Drew Geraci of District 7 Media proves it. Enjoy!
Um, NOPE. That was my first though when I saw these photos of the “Cliff House” in Australia. This house was literally built off of the edge of a cliff. It is cantilevered out over the water, giving its occupants breathtaking ocean views on three of the home’s four sides. The views are breathtaking, the design is open and modern and spacious, but I’m not sure I would ever be able to shake the uneasiness of knowing that all that separated me from the rocky depths below was a giant free-fall. What do you think? (For more details about the house, check out the story from The Express by clicking here.)
Bonchon, the infamously delicious Korean chicken wing chain, is FINALLY opening up shop in DC! The shops have dotted the MD and VA suburbs for years, teasing Washingtonians from across the border. But at last, it has been confirmed that Bonchon is opening up shop in the District. The news broke today that Bonchon will be opening up at Navy Yard in 2015. Hooray! You can check out the full story from The Washingtonion here.
